Hello everyone. I have started this site because I felt like I needed to rant a bit about things that happen in my life and my opinions on other stuff and I figured that sometimes, every now and then, others may enjoy my stories. Who knows, maybe one of my posts will become huge on Digg or something (yes, I can dream too!).

Why the alias ‘LittlBUGer’ you might ask?  Well, it’s quite simple really.  Way back when, you know, 1995-ish or maybe a bit earlier, when I first started to really get into in the gaming and online and just the general PC scene, I know I needed an alias as all do.  At that time, it was ‘Redeye’.  Why that, I can’t remember for the life of me, but it was short lived.  Soon came the day where my friend had internet access through AOL (yes AOL, it was like version 2.0 and it was all we had damit) and they were going to put me on their account with my own screen name and everything.  So, I had to think up something, something that would be unique, bold, be semi-comical and yet describe me as a person in the online world, of course as well as being within the AOL 10 character limit, naturally.  And thus, I remember playing good ol Doom back in those days, kicking other people’s asses, and I remember very specifically one quote from someone a moment after I killed them during a multiplayer match for like the 10th time in a row.  He said “Damn you little bugger!” and that just stuck.  I had to shorten it of course and for fun, I decided to capitalize the ‘BUG’ part, but essentially that was it.  It was only later that I found out a ‘little bugger’ in some extreme slang form in England or some other country actually meant ‘gay or homosexual’ or something of the not-so-good sort, but that was no-nevermind so I put it behind me (no pun intended) and just corrected anybody if they said anything (which was once or twice in my life).  Then again, most of the mistakes in my alias come from people not being able to read and stating it as ‘LittleBurger’…. Grrrr that gets on my nerves.  Anyway…

I am a male computer geek, have been all of my life, yet a seemingly popular one with a decent fashion sense. Because of this, I’ve had no problem getting non-geek or even non-techy friends, both guys and girls, at least until recent times. By that I mean, I’ve been happily married to my hot wife for over 5 years and we have 2 boys (ages 5 and 2) and 1 baby girl. Oh yea, and we’re only 25. :-)

Yes, it’s been an interesting 5 years, very tough at times, but it’s all worth it in the end. I love my wife and kids and my life is good. Wish I had more money and time, but that’s how things go. I also love gaming (I’m a hardcore computer gamer… when I get my 30 minutes a night to play…) and anything else dealing with computers. I’ve been programming for a few years or so, mainly now in VB.NET and ASP.NET with some MS SQL thrown in there, and I even have a couple Microsoft Certifications, amazing eh? Though in the past I’ve been a System/Network Administrator and a Support Specialist. Just for fun, here are my general laptop specs (yes, my main computer, for the first time in my life, is not a desktop, but a laptop):

  • 160 GB 7200 RPM HD
  • Windows XP Pro SP2 (BAH HUM BUG to Vista!)
  • Internal bluetooth and wireless a/b/g
  • ExpressCard slot I use for my Sound Blaster X-Fi Notebook sound card
  • 17 inch widescreen with resolution at 1900 x 1200
  • Custom painted blue with my special dragon “logo” and whatnot

My family and I currently live in good old Montana in the USA (NO, we do NOT all ride horses around here) in one of the largest “cities” and thus have all of the luxuries most of you out there have. The weather can change in an instant, from being completely blistering hot melting everything in sight, to freezing and blizzarding while keeping school and work in session (damn them)… but it’s all good. There’s not a whole lot to do in town for people like me, but then again, when you have no time, and the internet is freely available, why go out at all eh?
